Kalpa snow garrison is an outpost that was commanded by Croft at one time, according to a report generated by the database. Its name, as well as Croft's skills in "sub-zero survival techniques" point to the outpost being one with a harshly cold environment (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I").
